(St. George's, Grenada) 3 November, 2014 - Minister of Tourism and Civil Aviation, Hon. Alexandra Otway-Noel leads the Grenadian delegation which includes representatives from the Grenada Tourism Authority and the tourism sector to the World Travel Market (WTM) in London, United Kingdom. The event takes place 3rd - 6th November, 2014.
WTM is the largest business to business event that the Grenada Tourism Authority will attend this year, offering major opportunities for negotiations that can benefit Grenada's tourism industry. Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Richard Strachan; Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Rudy Grant; and Marketing Executive, Ms. Delysia De Coteau will participate in meetings, seminars, and media interviews.
The agenda includes discussions about the 2015 flight schedule and marketing activities with representatives from Virgin Holidays and British Airways. The two supply semi-weekly flights to Grenada from London, UK.
The delegation plans to engage in discussions with Mr. Eddie Warden Owen, Chief Executive of the Royal Ocean Racing Club (RORC) and Mr. Sean Purdy, Marketing of the Director Camper & Nicholsons Marinas about the RORC Transatlantic Race that starts on 29 November and ends in Grenada.
